Thanks for visiting HL7 Connection. My name is Matthew Clapp. I’ve been in management consulting for almost 10 years now and most of my career has been, thankfully, in healthcare. HL7 Connection is an answer to a call for a more open collaboration and dialog between advanced and beginner professionals in the field. Let’s face it, HL7 almost requires a Ph.D. in linguistics to fully understand, especially version 3. I hope to help facilitate this need here. This site is not sponsored by any company, vendor, or institution. It’s just me right now and hopefully as time goes on others will volunteer to help out. The site will never display ads nor accept money from any third-party. At some point, donations may be accepted for web hosting fees only. This site follows in the spirit of open source software and all content here will be licenses by the Creative Commons Attribution 2.5 License.
